A residence hall student room

Residential Well-being partners with university-approved vendors to help fund their residence hall programming and leadership training efforts. RWB vendors offer products specially designed for residence hall students, including linens, carpets, hutches, loft steps, and other goods.

Carpets

Many of the rooms at Virginia Tech are not carpeted. Dorm Co provides a convenient service for you to order rugs and carpets for your room! Carpets are high-quality, plush, meet all residential fire and safety requirements, and are bound on all four sides.

Linens

Students at Virginia Tech require specially-sized sheets, mattress pads and comforters to fit campus mattresses. These beds, which are longer than 76 inches, are intended to maximize student comfort.

For your convenience, we have partnered with Dorm Co to provide an easy, affordable way to purchase Twin XL bedding, dorm storage solutions, and everything else you may need or want for your new home away from home.

Furniture

College Savers has been proudly serving Virginia Tech students since 1996. They offer many affordable space-saving solutions to give optimize the space in your room. The product line ranges from desk hutches, dresser hutches, night stands, shoe racks, TV stands, etc. This year items will be delivered to your room before you arrive to campus! They also offer a buyback program at the end of each school year to save students from having to lug products or sell them on their own.

Loft Steps

Loft Steps are unique add-on treads that create wider stepping surfaces which provide comfortable access to lofted and top bunk beds.

University Cleaners (Wash, Dry, and Fold Laundry Services)

How University Cleaners' laundry service works:

  • University Cleaners provides a duffel bag specifically for you.
  • You place your dirty laundry into the bag.
  • University Cleaners then:
    • picks up your duffel bag.
    • sorts, launders, and folds; or dry cleans and hangs each item.
    • delivers your laundry and dry cleaning back to Grounds.

With all of the responsibilities and academic demands the school year brings, University Cleaners offers a comprehensive laundry service as an alternative to students doing their own laundry. By providing a once-weekly pick-up and delivery laundry service to your residence hall for the entire academic year, University Cleaners can alleviate your laundry burden.
